Back to the future Thursday,
25 September 2003

Forty years ago, when I was age 30, a friend of mine produced
the above doodle. The title she gave it was "Michael O'Shea age 80".
I looked at it this morning and leapt out of bed muttering
to myself, "My God! That's the forecast! How am I
weathering now that I am 70?"
I grabbed my little digi camera and managed to take the photo above, with
a great deal of contortion.
"Baby face!" I murmured to myself reassuringly. "Getting
there but not there yet!"
So yah! Mary Curgenven! You're a great artist - better even than you
think, I believe - but your forecast is away off!
Though another 10 years could make a difference I suppose - given life.
My internal image of myself is this

Another person sees me like this.
I'm a very confused old man!
