Film of Anthony's Requiem Mass (click to go)

My dear nephew Anthony - my sister's son - was killed while crossing a
road in Manchester, on Wednesday 20 April. He was 33.
As someone wrote on a wreath card (I quote from
memory): " ... when Tony came into a room his
lop-sided grin lit up the whole place.."
It's true. He was a most charming,
perceptive and intelligent young man, loved by everyone who knew him - and
I mean everyone.. Why? Because he was totally natural,
without artifice. He loved life. He loved his friends - simply loved
to be in their company. His enjoyment was infectious and was returned a
hundredfold.
His family - especially his sister Elaine and brother Michael
- are totally devastated, along with family and friends in Ireland, England,
Scotland, Belgium, Canada and Australia, and particularly in Manchester, where
he lived and worked for a dozen years, having taken a degree in mathematics and
marketing at Manchester University. |
| Anthony - Tony -
our beautiful friend, brother, nephew and cousin - loved and grieved for by all who
know him. I say 'know' because there is no past tense in the life of God's
Love. |
We are shocked beyond belief - deeply grieving.
The church was packed for his funeral in
Ardglass on 29 April. Some thirty of Anthony's friends arrived in
Ardglass - mostly from Manchester, Sheffield and London, though cousins
Michael and Sean O'Shea flew in from Belgium and a further two friends came
specially from Hong Kong and from Sydney, Australia - remarkable tributes
to Anthony.
Such friendship and love was the only bright thing, helping
to wipe away the hurt and the tears.
God love Anthony for ever more.
I cannot write any more at the moment. |

Paul Williams, one of Anthony's - well, Tony's - friends in Manachester
has established a website called "friendsof tonykerr".
It will be a site containing memories and photos of the lad - and as promised
during Tony's funeral (I suppose I better get used to calling him Tony - at
times) a memorial party is being organised for the evening of Sunday 5th June.
If you want to be there, or just read more, just fill in your email address in
the panel below and click on 'Join Now' (No Gremlin will bite! Nothing bad will
happen! I hope!)

Film, Anthony's Requiem Mass (uses
Windows Media Player - DOWNLOAD
HERE if you do not already have.)
As this film is approx 18mb you will need Broadband to view properly. Even
then the quality may not be great - added to the quality of the film itself,
which was produced in haste.
I am hoping to create a DVD, but am having great difficulty with this.
