THE MESSAGE OF THE CROSS

GOD’S WORD POINTS US TO:

I Cor 1:8: Christ died that we might live. The message of the Cross is foolishness to those who are perishing but to us who are being saved it is the Power of God.

Matt 16:24 Jesus said, "If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow Me…"

John 17:20-26. Jesus prays for all believers:

John 17:20 "I pray for those who believe in the message…"

John 17:21 "That they all may be one Father just as you are in me and I in you…"

John 17:23 "May they be brought to complete unity…"

John 17:22 "I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one just as we are one…"

John 14:27 "Peace I leave with you, my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives…
