"You Christians have a confounded cheek - imposing your calendar upon those of us who are Jewish, Hindu, Muslim, Bhuddist, Brahmin, Atheist, Agnostic - and the Chinese people and other nations who do not accept the measurement of Time as starting with the birth of an obscure Jew!"

"Anno Domini? Year of the Lord indeed! Whose Lord? Not ours! Why should you so exaggerate the importance of an ordinary Jew born a couple of thousand years ago - and who finished up being executed as a criminal!?"
You Christians are a joke - in your behaviour and your concepts!  Fighting among yourselves and seeking to impose your idiotic, infantile belief
about a male baby being the Son of God! - Born of a virgin to boot It's a HOOT!

I have never heard anything so laughable, so outlandish! And yet you expect the rest of the world to join in your celebration of one particular year selected from millions of  possible years - simply because this man was born! Come off it!
        Unbelievable effrontery and arrogance!

Hasn't the world seen many such fanatical, ego-obsessed idiots in the course of time?  Who but a madman would say,
"Unless you are born again you will not enter into the kingdom of Heaven"
         - Crazy! How can a man be born again? Crawl into his mother's womb and come out again?
And then again this guy says,
"Unless you eat of my flesh and drink of my blood you will not have life within you!"
The words of a carnivorous, cannibalistic, bloodthirsty lunatic!
And there's more!   Ego at full throttle - as with this type of religious mania - the same man proclaims,
"I am the way, the Truth and the Life!"
It would be laughable if it were not so sad. The man was obviously
witless!
Thanks be to sanity we have outgrown such primitive, mind-boggling notions.
But I'm not a spoilsport, and I do love a good party!
So I will be heading out for a wee dram or two - ach aye, a wee duch'n duris - just for the fun of it! But only because I love a bit of music, a few drinks and a laugh!

There's nothing much more to it - except the headache and hangover I am going to have for a few days after!
Maybe I would be wise to sit it out and be sober! But I would miss the fun!

So - Christians - Thanks for the Party - but not for anything else - anything meaningful or important!
We live in the same, dreary old time continuum, unexplained and unexplainable - and all we are doing is having a party to celebrate the passage of time.
I'm for it - as long as it is clear that it has nothing to do with this religious bunkum!"
