DIARY:   Ruminations, Occasional thoughts & happenings - as they arise

Oisín - Friday 31 March 2006 & Saturday 8 April  (SEE BELOW)

My first grandson came kicking into the world today: (31 March 2006)
Oisín Tomás Ruairí de Paor OSé.

(Gaelic gone mad! In English: Oisín  [pronounced osh-een] Thomas Rory Power O'Shea)
16 hours labour.  Wee lad reluctant to leave the comfort of the womb.
Who could  blame him.

  Michael OSé.

Ardglass Visit   Saturday 8 April

Ray and Audrey were here for a couple of days. It was so great to see my new grandson for the first time.
He is so beautiful! I kid you not! look at a couple of photos i took.
No doting Granda here!  He simply is beautiful - but then so is Maya & her Mum and Dad.

What a place to bath a chap!  In your Granda's bidet!  But then if you are only seven days old you don't have
much of a say in the matter.

Still there's always the comfort of Mama, when a guy gets dry ....

and there's a cuddle from everybody else - even if one of them is your big sister -  uuugh!!

... or old Ugly Granda Mick!
He's got as many teeth as I have!
        - just look at him!
(NB: I must remember to brush my teeth,
       when I get some.)
